Trip Summary
This is a 2 week trip including sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley, a gentle trek in the Annapurna foothills, white water rafting and wildlife safari in the Chitwan National Park, topped off with an Everest flight.

Description
The Best of Nepal is one of our most popular tours as it allows you to experience the 3 main activities that Nepal is justly famous for. Trekking, rafting and jungle safari. With this itinerary you are guaranteed to get the most from your 2 weeks in the Kingdom. Starting in the ancient capital of Nepal, we have plenty of time to wander around the sights: medieval market squares, narrow lanes and hundreds of ancient Buddhist and Hindu temples.

We then fly to Pokhara, the picturesque lakeside town for the start of our trek. The trek in the Annapurnas allows us to witness the splendour of the giant Himalayan peaks and experience ancient cultures. As we walk through villages unchanged by the centuries as peaks tower to 8000m above.

On our return from the Annapurnas we head to the town of Bandipur, a small mountain town close to our rafting put-in. The white-water rafting section of the trip sees you on the Seti river. The glacier melt from the Annapurnas flows down this stunning river, and we spend 2 days mixing adrenaline fuelled rapids and lazy meanderings until we arrive at one of Asia’s premium wildlife reserves. The wild and mysterious Chitwan National Park, is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger and the one horned Rhinoceros. We explore the jungle on elephant back, foot and by dugout canoe before heading back to Kathmandu and the ultimate ride.

On the last morning we take you to Everest…by plane, in a not-to-be missed panorama flight of the highest mountain in the world.
